Welcome to ResearchTour Cameroon

ResearchTour Cameroon is a company that provides research assistance to academic researchers, helps organise educational conferences and arranges tours for tourists with ecological or cultural interests in Cameroon.

Since 2003, ResearchTour Cameroon has helped organise 23 international conferences in Cameroon and has collected field (primary) data for over 12 international research projects. Majority of those research projects have been in the area of environmental conservation and sustainable development. We have participated in field research in all 10 of Cameroon’s provinces on projects ranging from investigating the impact of global climate change on the agro-ecologic systems in Cameroon to exploring the impacts of the Chad-Cameroon  Pipeline. We have provided research assistance to over 200 student researchers so far.

ResearchTour Cameroon has organised tours for tourists to visit places like the Bakassi peninsula, the Adamawa plateau, the Lake Chad basin, the Barombi Mbo Lake, the pygmy settlements in the South and East Provinces of Cameroon, the peak of Mt. Cameroon, the twin Mwanengouba Lakes, the Cameroon Volcanic Line, the sandy beaches of Kribi, the Bakingili eruption sites, the Baminjin Dam, Lake Mounoun of the West Province, the palace of the Sultan of Foumban, the Chad-Cameroon Pipeline corridor, the Limbe Botanic Gardens, the Waza National Park, many nature reserves in the country, etc. Averagely 245 tourists register with ResearchTour Cameroon every month.
